Cowden Horses is comprised of Joanie Cowden and Dub Cowden. The Cowden family has devoted their life to training quality horses and horsepersons. Joanie Cowden has been a professional horse trainer for 40 years and barrel racing in professional rodeos for 36 years. Joanie is now offering riding clinics emphasizing "Joanie's 4 C's" of horsemanship designed to improve horse and rider. Additionally, Joanie offers an internship program for students interested in furthering their horse knowledge. Joanie is a Certified Equine Appraiser,specializing in performance horses and race horses.Joanie is qualified to appraise all breeds and all disciplines Joanie's husband, Dub Cowden, a National Finals Rodeo qualifier, has been training horses professionally for 37 years. Dub has been team roping in professional rodeos for 30 years and is now training professional grade rope horses from their home in Arizona.
